Let me introduce myself

I have a tendency to ramble.

It takes me a few hundred thousand words to get my point across—that’s probably why my books are so thick. I’m not long-winded like Tolkien; I rarely pause long enough to enjoy the moment. I simply add so much information that to fit it all in one book (blog post) is quite baffling.

So I’ll strip this down to the bare necessities: let me (re)introduce myself.

My name is Sara, and I am an author, photographer, and all around dabbler in anything and everything that seems intriguing to my ADHD mind. I’m in my mid-twenties (writing that down was alarming) and out of my mind half the time by being in it far too much. I enjoy removing myself from the plains of reality and making up my own. It’s a coping mechanism, I know, but hey, it brings others joy (and tears). There are much worse ways to cope.

I embody literally everything written about an INFP-T personality type, so if you have further questions into how my brain works, it’s all there. I share the type with, amusingly, my two main main characters from both of my book series: Todd Vinson from The Seed of Euforemalta, and Paige Graham from The Magenta Trilogy. When I say main main, I mean each series started with and was built upon those two characters—literal extensions of myself, I suppose. Todd embodies my aching need to prove myself to literally everyone; Paige embodies my stubborn need to save literally everyone.

Both of them have been called, by readers, frustrating.

Trust me, I get it.

There’s not much else to say about myself. I have a million hobbies and no clear direction. I format, I crochet and knit, I edit, I graphic design—I do anything and everything, here, there, and everywhere. I was homeschooled; grew up in a stable, conservative, Christian household, and I play uncoordinated hopscotch with my faith every day (take that as you will). Kind of a conspiracy theorist—but hey, who isn’t these days?

But hey, I want to get to know you, too. Leave me some comments about yourself!
